Sierra Pacific Windows
HRTI is proud to install Sierra Pacific Windows in our clients’ homes. They are a green window supplier with 125 years combined experience in the window business. Their aluminum clad wood windows have thicker cladding than many of their competitors. Sierra Pacific has the unique position of owning their production process from planted seed, to the delivery of their windows and doors. This, and being a family-owned company for three generations, gives them total control over their product to insure quality and customer satisfaction.
Focus on Sustainability
Sierra Pacific’s focus is on sustainability and they take part in the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI). They have 2 million acres of timberland in California and Washington state and surpass forestry regulations bringing in Professional Foresters and Wildlife Biologists to protect wildlife habitats. They believe it is paramount to plant more trees than they harvest to sustain balance to the ecosystem and their business.
Options with Sierra Pacific Windows
Sierra Pacific offers a variety of windows in different styles and materials. They manufacture the classic casement, awning, single hung, double hung, horizontal sliders, and bay & bow windows. They additionally specialize in more unique bi-fold, multi-slide and special shaped windows.
Frames
Sierra Pacific Windows are available in aluminum clad, all-wood, H3 Fusion Tech and vinyl. Their aluminum clad windows are twice as thick as roll-form cladding and are powder coated for better surface hardness, scratch resistance and color retention. Their all-wood windows are available in nine select wood options; including pine, maple, alder, mahogany, cherry, douglas fir, walnut, red oak and white oak. H3 Fusion Tech windows are an integration of aluminum clad, wood windows with a vinyl base frame. They also offer a fully vinyl window option.
Quality Construction
At Sierra Pacific, the wood is treated and protected against insects and moisture with their patented, naturally organic CoreGuard™ Plus preservative. The inside frame is coated with high performance glazing and customized options are available specific to your weather and environment. Their insulated glass uses No-Metal TrueWarm® Edge polymer structural foam spacers to improve energy efficiency and reduce seal failures. The aluminum spacers more commonly used with other manufacturers conduct the cold between panes of glass decreasing energy efficiency.
HRTI recommends Sierra Pacific to our customers when quality, durability and sustainable sourcing is of outmost importance. We would be happy to discuss the best style and material for your home with you. Contact us for more information today.
